Palazzo Las VegasThe soft opening of the Palazzo Resort on the 28th of Dec. will give locals and visitors a taste for what is to come for its grand opening on Jan 17-19. The resort also has its own float, “Viva Italia,” in the Rose Bowl Parade. One part of the float will highlight the Palazzo, with its signature architectural style with awnings, while the other part will feature the Palazzo’s adjoining resort, The Venetian . Fresh flowers will be shaped to resemble the Palazzo’s structure and the landmark Campanile Tower and Doge’s Palace.

The measurement of the float is 28-feet high, 18-feet wide and 62-feet in length. Over 30,000 roses will be featured through its gardens and floral displays.

The Palazzo float will also serve as the stage for the opening ceremonies for the parade, and it will be the lead float to start down the 5.5 mile route in Pasadena, California.
