By Pete Allman

Viva Las Arepes RestaurantFelix Arellano and Alix Molina his wife, are two individuals who are from Venezuela who believe in the principles of hard work and dedication. Both are proud to be citizens of the United States. At a young age Felix started cooking for his parents in Venezuela, where he learned to think creatively in preparing cuisine. Since that time he has worked for some of the top restaurants throughout the country as well as Las Vegas. Las Vegas is where he decided to open a small Taco stand, later working his way to creating a comfortable, colorful restaurant, specializing in Venezuelan cuisine. Viva Las Arepes is such a place, displaying pictures of colorful food dishes with colorful walls in a contemporary atmosphere. It somewhat reminds one of the famous Cuban restaurants in Miami." I believe in giving the patron a tasty dish that's healthy, yet at a reasonable price. That's what keeps our customers coming back again and again." he states.

The preparation of the meats are slow cooked, using Mesquite wood. Mesquite wood fire prepared meats have an excellent taste and in this case are very tasty. The cooks, supervised by Mr. Arellano only use fresh ingredients with all orders prepared on the grill on the spot.
